THE CHALLENGE

B&D, a leading garage door solutions provider, encountered significant inefficiencies with their traditional paper-based property inspection process. The manual approach often resulted in lost paperwork, delays in reporting, and difficulty in tracking progress. These challenges hindered the company’s ability to provide timely and accurate service to its customers. Additionally, the paper-based system made it difficult to analyse inspection data and identify trends, limiting B&D’s ability to make data-driven decisions.

THE SOLUTION

Hitori created a comprehensive inspection platform that streamlines workflows and improves data accuracy for B&D. This platform consists of an iOS  and Android mobile app and a cloud-based web application. Field staff can use the app to conduct inspections, capture photos, and record measurements using a Bluetooth laser measuring device. The data is then seamlessly integrated into the web application for management, reporting, and analysis. A centralised web application allows for managing inspections, generating detailed PDF reports, and accessing data. The platform leverages cutting-edge technologies like React Native, Ember.js, Python/Django, and Bluetooth integration to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience. Additionally, the platform utilises augmented reality to visualise potential garage door configurations, enhancing the decision-making process.
